It seems I have neglected to update this site for the past year. Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about this site, just have had to shift my priorities a little bit. Not a whole lot going on as of now. The 240sx is down again due to a blown head gasket. Swapping in engine #3 now, trying to get an engine harness that works. Seems like everything is fighting me on this motor swap.
I haven’t gotten to go to many events this year due to working and spending money on the 240 to get that running again. The old exhaust is gone, need to get seat rails for it, needs another harness because apparently this one doesn’t have a throttle position sensor plug, just a lot of crap that is gone wrong with this car. Hopefully it will be running at the end of this month with a little bit of luck and a good bit of parts haha.

Finally got the diff in the 240 welded by MA-Motorsports in Baltimore, MD. Good people to deal with, got the differential back to me in the same day. I will deffinately be doing business with them again and I recomend them to anyone. Check them out at www.mamsparts.com!

Phil finished painting his MOOMOO S14 Today, Finished masking off the cow spots last nite. Sprayed a little bit before he got tired and stopped painting, Today he finished spraying down the paint and this is how it came out.

Finally got the KA out of the car. So much stupid shit was hung up on the car, mostly the trans harness!

NOTE TO ANYONE REMOVING ENGINE WITH TRANS ATTACHED: undo the plugs under the fuse block to get the trans harness out without removing any of the sensors.

All sorts of shit disconected… Just need to undo engine mounts, shifter and driveshaft. Hopefully I got all the conectors undone and wont have to deal with any more when I pull the engine out (which knowing my luck I will have some stupid thing hooked up still). I’ll even throw in this neat picture too!

Yea, I know i haven’t updated this in a while but I managed to spin a bearing in the stock KA24E in the 240. So that will be down for a bit till I decide what to do with the engine. I did however get new coilovers for the car though. Cusco Zero 2 Coilovers, sucks that I wont be able to use them for a bit while I get a new motor together for the car. But whatever, shit happens.
